Product Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage various technical programs and projects concurrently.

• Create project plans that encompass scope, timelines, resources, risks, and key milestones.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to establish requirements and deliverables.

• Identify potential risks, address issues, and ensure the achievement of successful outcomes.

• Report on project status, progress, and obstacles to stakeholders and senior management.

• Promote team collaboration and effective communication.

• Propel continuous enhancements in project management processes and methodologies.

• Ensure project objectives align with business goals and strategic priorities.

• Oversee project budgets, monitor expenses, and utilize resources efficiently.

• Offer technical guidance and support to project teams.

• Encourage cross-team collaboration and sharing of knowledge.

• Manage dependencies and enhance project efficiency through transparent communication.

• Handle vendor relationships as necessary to ensure contributions align with project objectives and timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role within a technology-focused environment.

• Strong technical foundation with practical experience in software development, systems engineering, or related disciplines.

• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget constraints.

• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with cloud technologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and DevOps practices is advantageous.

• PMP, PgMP, or other related certifications are a plus.
