This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Cultivate and expand business within the designated customer and product portfolio.
• Engage with current customers to discover opportunities for introducing products that are not currently being purchased.
• Analyze customer purchasing behaviors, applications, and industry demands to identify cross-selling and portfolio expansion opportunities.
• Present customized product solutions and value propositions that align with customer technical and commercial requirements.
• Propel incremental revenue and margin growth through effective opportunity management and follow-up.
• Act as a dedicated resource for product and portfolio sales within the Virtual Account Management framework.
• Oversee a substantial book of business utilizing phone, video, and digital engagement tools.
• Prioritize opportunities based on commercial significance, customer readiness, and portfolio strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Sales Management, and Field Sales teams.
• Synchronize account strategies and coordinate customer outreach alongside Field Sales.
• Comprehend product positioning, target applications, pricing strategies, and supplier priorities.
• Share insights about customers, competitive intelligence, and market feedback.
• Ensure timely and accurate system reporting.
• Assist with pricing execution, sample requests, and the coordination of internal resources.
• Comply with commercial policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• Proven ability to sell multiple products or solutions across a customer portfolio.
• Strong financial, market, and commercial insight.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to forge strong business relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
• Proficient in managing time and resources effectively to meet objectives.
• Exceptional listening skills coupled with a problem-solving mindset.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sciences, or Sales is preferred.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and CRM platforms like Salesforce.com.
• Experience in matrixed, cross-functional environments.
• Background in guiding or influencing sales execution teams without direct reporting authority.
• Industry experience in specific lines of business or specialty distribution environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conference, and written communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, typically less than 10–15% of the time.
• Minimal physical lifting capability, generally not exceeding 10 pounds.
