Product Owner – Mid-Level/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Comprehend customer workflows and requirements, converting them into specifications, user stories, and clear guidelines for the development team.

• Adjust and rearrange requests based on business priorities, deadlines, and project goals.

• Organize and oversee the backlog, ensuring that requests are precise, comprehensive, and in alignment.

• Facilitate refinement sessions and assist the team throughout the execution of initiatives.

• Schedule planning and monitoring, identifying risks, dependencies, and effects on deliverables.

• Oversee and communicate project progress, ensuring transparency for customers and stakeholders.

• Serve as the main liaison between the customer and the team, leading discussions on alignment, negotiations, and managing expectations.

• Eliminate obstacles and assist in resolving issues that could affect deliverables.

• Track project metrics and outcomes, suggesting improvement actions when needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a comparable role.

• Experience in software development projects.

• Proven track record in gathering and detailing requirements, breaking down epics, features, and user stories, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs.

• Experience in planning, prioritizing, and monitoring deliverables.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of integrations, APIs, and systems logic.

• Understanding of metrics and results tracking.

• Utilization of AI tools to enhance productivity and quality.

• Experience in software houses, consultancies, or project-based engagements.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple requests and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Capability to lead discussions on alignment, negotiations, and managing expectations.

• Strong skills in prioritization, decision-making, and problem-solving.
