Product Owner I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and prioritize the team backlog according to business value and strategic goals.

• Convert business requirements and portfolio objectives into features, stories, and deliverables for Agile teams.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, business stakeholders, architects, and developers to enhance requirements and define scope.

• Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders, end users, and delivery teams.

• Manage dependencies, eliminate delivery obstacles, and support initiatives within the Specialty portfolio.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, which include sprint planning, backlog refinement, PI Planning, ART Syncs, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.

• Assess product progress, supervise development phases, and ensure stories fulfill acceptance criteria.

• Work alongside business owners and stakeholders to comprehend needs, manage scope, and enhance product quality and delivery.

• Coordinate iteration objectives, assist with story estimation and sequencing, and drive the execution of Agile initiatives.

• Champion end-user needs to guarantee solutions align with customer and business expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Agile product delivery, project management, business analysis, or a similar field.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe frameworks, backlog management, requirements refinement, and stakeholder engagement.

• Proficient in Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps, along with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently across business and technology teams.

• Strategic thinker with robust problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.

• Fluent English is required.

• SAFe Product Owner certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

• Must possess valid, local legal authorization to work in Brazil at the time of hiring.
