Product Owner – Business Solutions Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the application development team.

• Convert intricate supply chain processes into digital solutions.

• Prioritize the product backlog based on strategic objectives and customer requirements.

• Collect, refine, and document business needs.

• Transform manual or fragmented supply chain processes into cohesive application workflows.

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.

• Create mock-ups and prototypes using Figma or comparable tools.

• Offer domain expertise for solution design, process mapping, and application development decisions.

• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver high-value features.

• Promote iteration and continuous improvement through feedback and changing business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Proven experience leading customer-facing sessions (workshops, discovery, demos) to identify needs and co-create solutions.

• Background in one or more areas: supply chain business processes, requirements development for agile project teams, SAFe product management, or UI/UX design.

• Recognized subject matter expertise in sourcing, procurement, or material program management.

• More than 4 years of experience in supply chain operations, consulting, or transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.

• Over 7 years of experience in supply chain operations, consulting, or transformation initiatives with tangible results.

• Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business requirements into actionable software specifications.

• Practical experience in designing UI mock-ups.

• Experience collaborating directly with application development teams in an Agile setting.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems and data-related challenges.

• Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of API integrations, data models, and best practices in digital transformation.

• Capacity to balance multiple stakeholders and navigate intricate organizational structures.

• A history of designing new applications or tools.

• Strong UX design approach with the ability to create intuitive workflows aligned with user personas and supply chain roles.

• Solid technical aptitude shown through analytics, data engineering, application, or related product work.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.

• Strong business insight, creativity, and a proactive approach.

• Capability to convert broad, ambiguous requirements into digital applications that yield measurable business outcomes.

• Proven experience in reimagining manual or disconnected supply chain processes into streamlined, automated workflows.

• Ability to independently define application user experiences and workflows.

• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.

• Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.
