This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting subject matter experts (SMEs) to outline and define implementation phases.
• Convert business requirements and intricate domain needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and comprehensive product documentation.
• Foster the client's product vision, strategic direction, and roadmap.
• Oversee and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
• Weigh business value, customer requirements, technical limitations, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Cultivate stakeholder alignment and facilitate actionable decision-making.
• Work alongside the client, development team, UX/UI designers, QA professionals, and Scrum Master/Project Manager.
• Evaluate completed work against acceptance criteria and business expectations, deciding whether to accept or reject it.
• Aid in testing and validating the features delivered.
• Present product domains and implementation phases utilizing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and structured examples.
• Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, demos, and various Agile ceremonies.
• Identify dependencies and proactively mitigate delivery risks.
• Report on completed work and communicate progress against the roadmap.
• Leverage data, customer insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance product offerings.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, or 3–5 years in a comparable Business Analyst/Product Owner role within a Scrum framework.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT/software products, ideally in the ERP, accounting, or finance sectors.
• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the comprehensive software/product development lifecycle.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed development teams.
• Proven track record of working with multiple SMEs, including accountants, finance controllers, and auditors.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in translating intricate business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
• Practical experience in crafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• Strong skills in prioritization and decision-making.
• Ability to operate independently while maintaining transparency and alignment with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Miro.
• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools in daily tasks.
• Familiarity with UX principles and user-centered design approaches.
• Understanding of API-based systems and integrations, especially within ERP ecosystems.
• A data-driven mindset towards product development and decision-making.
• Nice to have: practical experience with ERP or accounting systems; knowledge of core accounting principles; familiarity with BDD; and certifications such as CBAP, PSPO, or equivalent.
