Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily execution, and ensure release readiness.

• Convert product vision into well-defined, actionable tasks.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to decompose priorities into manageable deliverables.

• Evaluate trade-offs concerning customer value, business impact, speed, scope, and risk.

• Engage with universities, students, and internal stakeholders to test solutions and collect feedback.

• Integrate customer and stakeholder insights into product strategy.

• Drive the team's focus on acquisition, conversion, engagement, and achieving business outcomes.

• Utilize AI tools for defining requirements, acceptance criteria, scenario planning, prototyping, research synthesis, and product collaboration.

• Coordinate project delivery among teams in the UK, US, and India while considering market, release, and communication variations.

• Report to the Principal Product Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar position.

• Proficient in backlog management and prioritization.

• Skillful in translating product direction into clear, actionable requirements.

• Experience working across diverse markets or regions.

• Background in B2B and B2C products, or within a B2B2C or other multi-sided product context.

• Experience directly engaging with customers or users to validate needs, test solutions, and incorporate feedback.

• Proven track record of close collaboration with Engineering and Design teams.

• Demonstrated application of AI to enhance various stages of the product development lifecycle.

• Strong, confident communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work efficiently with geographically dispersed teams.

• Preferred: experience in marketplace, listings, PropTech, ILS-style, or other multi-sided product environments.

• Preferred: understanding of integrations, ecosystem dependencies, and marketplace/platform value creation and monetization.

• Preferred: experience in scale-ups or high-growth settings.
