Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with fellow Product Managers to brainstorm, develop, and refine user stories for feature-centric projects and product initiatives.

• Consistently update the Product Lead on any potential obstacles and the status of product work.

• Work alongside the Product Delivery Manager to foresee necessary adjustments and scope compromises.

• Collaborate with Engineering to guarantee clarity in software ticket specifications.

• Oversee, sustain, and safeguard the product-work scope to ensure timely and efficient delivery of both new and iterative functionalities.

• Independently create Acceptance Criteria for user stories and software tickets.

• Offer comprehensive, self-sufficient documentation that allows developers and testers to execute and verify product modifications without requiring further assistance.

• Cultivate in-depth subject matter expertise in designated product areas and act as the primary resource for internal and external inquiries.

• Provide internal training and assist team members in their respective product domains.

• Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Utilize expertise in Regulation E and Regulation Z to ensure compliance with consumer financial protection regulations and card network standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the Fraud and Disputes sector.

• Proven understanding of consumer financial products along with chargeback and dispute resolution processes.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional initiatives through expertise and influence.

• Extensive knowledge across the complete fraud and disputes lifecycle.

• At least 1–2 years of experience in Agile methodologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Skill in adapting information and communication styles for various audiences, including senior leadership.

• Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous situations; able to self-manage tasks and produce results independently in a high-demand, fast-paced environment without close supervision.

• Familiarity with Regulation E and Regulation Z.

• Ability to develop thorough subject matter expertise in assigned product areas and serve as a knowledge source for internal teams, including training and assisting colleagues.

• Experience with SaaS products is preferred.

• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

• Experience utilizing data to uncover insights and guide product decisions is preferred.

• Proven track record of achieving results through influence and negotiation across various organizational levels is preferred.

• Awareness of product management trade-offs and experience adhering to a product roadmap is preferred.
