Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Guide clients in making optimal strategic product choices that align with their organizational and business objectives.

• Facilitate communication and translation between client business requirements and technological solutions.

• Assist in formulating a strategic vision and developing programs.

• Balance the intersection of engineering, business strategy, and interpersonal relationships.

• Prioritize tasks and effectively communicate these priorities to the team.

• Stay informed about the competitive landscape, growth prospects, customer needs, market trends, industry advancements, and standards.

• Collaborate with the development team to design solutions tailored to client needs and specifications.

• Ensure that requirements are clearly understood and that implementation plans align with expectations.

• Identify and articulate client business requirements and potential growth avenues.

• Provide strategic advice to clients regarding technology strategy, product planning, strategic roadmapping, and release planning.

• Develop, maintain, and refine a backlog utilizing Jira.

• Participate in a scrum team, representing business requirements to developers and ensuring the completion of tickets.

• Highlight product risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• Mentor and counsel clients to facilitate their progress.

• Educate and synchronize development teams on client requirements while acting as the client proxy throughout build cycles.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading software applications and/or providing strategic advisory services and account management.

• Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in Design, Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with a diverse range of individuals, including senior executives, R&D personnel, product managers, legal advisors, finance professionals, sales, and marketing experts.

• Capable of clearly and succinctly synthesizing and communicating complex requirements and organizational challenges, proposing solutions while navigating intricate, matrixed decision-making processes.

• Professional experience with technology backlog processes and tools such as Jira, ClickUp, and Asana.

• Ability to confidently lead groups in whiteboarding sessions, concept discussions, and prioritization exercises.

• Capability to lead cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

• PSPO Certification or CSPO Certification is a plus.

• Must reside in Brazil.
