Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and regularly update the product backlog.

• Convert product strategy into epics, user stories, requirements, and well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Prioritize development tasks based on customer value, business objectives, technical dependencies, and compliance requirements.

• Establish requirements across onboarding, funding, market discovery, trading, positions, settlement, and withdrawals.

• Collaborate closely with the Engineering team throughout the development process to address inquiries and clarify requirements.

• Partner with Design to create intuitive customer journeys and ensure user experience is prioritized throughout product development.

• Integrate Compliance, Legal, and operational requirements into the product specifications.

• Lead backlog refinement sessions and actively participate in sprint planning and product demonstrations.

• Assess completed work against the established requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with QA on test scenarios and ensure readiness for release.

• Utilize product performance data, customer behavior insights, and feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Assist the CPO in translating the comprehensive product roadmap into actionable development priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable product-focused role within a technology company.

• Significant experience collaborating directly with software engineering teams.

• Capability to convert complex business needs into clear product requirements.

• Strong grasp of agile product development methodologies.

• Excellent skills in prioritization and decision-making.

• Comfortable working across various teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Data, and Operations.
