This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of product value propositions related to market participation, battery management, and demand-side response.
• Develop product positioning, messaging, and competitive battlecards.
• Work in collaboration with product managers on industry analysis, market trends, and identifying opportunities.
• Create product collateral, case studies, thought leadership pieces, blogs, web content, advertorials, email campaigns, and customer success narratives.
• Establish customer advocacy programs and convert technical capabilities into business advantages.
• Oversee product promotion through LinkedIn and online trade publications.
• Collaborate on integrated marketing campaigns and email marketing segmented by industry, persona, and product offerings.
• Plan and carry out product launch events.
• Lead the planning and execution of U.S. marketing events, industry conferences, and webinars.
• Manage the company’s presence at industry events, including researching events, identifying attendees, securing speaking and exhibition slots, and generating media coverage.
• Represent the company at significant U.S. industry events and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
• Coordinate with the sales team to optimize event lead generation and follow-up.
• Assess and report on event ROI and overall effectiveness.
• A minimum of 5 years of product marketing experience within the energy sector.
• Proven understanding of energy markets, battery storage systems, and demand response technologies.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Experience in formulating marketing strategies for B2B technology products.
• A demonstrated history of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• Self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced skills in PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with key team members and the broader organization.
• Highly organized with strong coordination skills.
• Preferred: experience with renewable energy technologies and smart grid solutions.
• Preferred: knowledge of energy trading platforms and forecasting tools.
• Preferred: understanding of utility operations and the regulatory landscape.
• Preferred: experience with marketing automation tools like Pardot, Engagement Studio, HubSpot, or Marketo.
• Preferred: MBA or an advanced degree in a pertinent field.
