This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and enhance Affirm’s portfolio narrative, merchant storytelling, messaging framework, and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with the Brand and Marketing teams to implement the portfolio narrative across key merchant channels.
• Establish operational rhythms that align Product and go-to-market teams during planning, forecasting, launches, and strategic client initiatives.
• Work alongside Revenue Enablement to develop messaging, tools, training materials, and proof points for merchant engagements.
• Lead Affirm’s Client Advisory Board and broader merchant feedback networks.
• Convert insights from merchants, revenue, research, and performance into product priorities, go-to-market strategies, and opportunities for pilot or co-development.
• Spearhead high-priority, ambiguous projects such as partnerships for commerce and payments platforms or the launch of new markets.
• Exemplify Affirm’s values, cultivate cross-functional trust, encourage inclusive discussions, and mentor others.
• Over 12 years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or a similar field.
• Extensive knowledge in B2B payments, fintech, commerce, or platform businesses.
• Proven history of establishing strategic direction and achieving measurable results for a significant product portfolio or business segment.
• Strong ability to tell compelling portfolio stories to senior leaders, merchants, and partners.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Capability to transform insights from merchants, consumers, markets, and performance into product priorities, business cases, and investment recommendations.
• Proficiency in influencing senior leaders, navigating trade-offs, and fostering alignment across Product, Revenue, Partnerships, Analytics, and Marketing teams.
• Robust self-service analytical skills.
• Comfort with SQL, dashboards, and AI-assisted analysis.
• High proficiency in AI with experience in utilizing it for synthesizing research, analyzing data, automating workflows, and developing reusable tools.
• Experience in creating reusable frameworks and operational mechanisms for segmentation, go-to-market strategies, launches, and performance measurement.
