This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Communicate the advantages of the Encourage program for both educators and students
• Implement Encoura's B2B marketing go-to-market strategy alongside Product and Partnerships teams
• Oversee the creation of messaging, content, collateral, event deliverables, and targeted marketing campaigns
• Analyze the competitive landscape and identify differentiators in the college and career planning sector
• Create and refine buyer personas for various products and services
• Develop a deep understanding of Encourage products and their use cases
• Formulate seasonal go-to-market strategies and ensure their execution
• Craft positioning statements, target personas, email marketing campaigns, website content, marketing materials, and sales presentations
• Train Partnerships and other client-facing teams while developing internal and external tools
• Gather market feedback to guide product positioning and innovation efforts
• Collaborate on new product launches and lead product launch initiatives
• Represent Encourage at conferences, partner meetings, client visits, school and district demonstrations, focus groups, and other events; expected travel is 10%–20%
• Report directly to the Vice President of Marketing for Encourage
• Assist in scaling products within K12 schools to foster future growth
• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience
• At least five years of experience in B2B marketing
• Background from a high-tech SaaS company; experience in the education technology sector is preferred
• Proven experience in go-to-market planning and execution
• Familiarity with the Pragmatic Marketing approach, with direct experience being advantageous
• Experience in crafting industry-level messaging and positioning, effectively communicating value and differentiation
• Collaborative experience with field sales teams to deliver content and gather insights
• Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or a comparable CRM/marketing automation system
• Exceptional communication skills, both in writing and presenting
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to think innovatively while making data-driven decisions
• Self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills with a proven track record of managing external resources and collaborating across functions
• Required to complete and pass CLEAR™ identity verification as part of the pre-employment process
