This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take ownership of the complete product lifecycle for Workday Extend applications, encompassing vision, roadmap, requirements, delivery, and iteration.
• Lead Extend workstreams during client engagements, overseeing scope, schedules, and alignment with stakeholders.
• Propel the Marketplace product strategy by recognizing reusable patterns, packaging them into productized Bring-on-Workday offerings, and managing go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with Extend Architects to convert business requirements into technical solutions on the Extend platform.
• Oversee tenant architecture decisions in conjunction with technical leads.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery across HCM, Financials, Payroll, and Integration workstreams.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, collect requirements, and establish acceptance criteria.
• Create and sustain product backlogs, prioritizing features based on client impact and potential for reuse.
• Assist in pre-sales activities through estimations, proposals, and solution demonstrations.
• Advocate for the adoption of AI and agentic workflow capabilities within Extend solutions.
• Promote Huron's Extend capabilities both internally and within the Workday partner community.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within enterprise SaaS or consulting.
• At least 3 years of experience working in the Workday ecosystem.
• Current Workday Pro certification in at least one domain.
• Profound understanding of the Workday Extend platform, including custom business objects, pages, and orchestrations.
• Experience with Workday integrations, such as Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Cross-module expertise covering at least two areas: HCM, Financials, Payroll, and Supply Chain.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Capability to translate technical complexities into clear business results.
• Familiarity with Workday's AI agent framework, including Developer Agent, Agent-Ready Tools, and Agent Actions, expected within the first year.
• Ability to assess where agentic automation can be integrated into Extend solution design, expected within the first year.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its significance in developer tooling, anticipated within the first year.
• Understanding of Workday Data Cloud / LDQ concepts and their influence on product architecture, expected within the first year.
