
Product Manager, Wet Goods – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Director of Product Management for Wet Goods and assist in category ownership for new formulation product lines.
• Aid in the execution of new product development initiatives within MANSCAPED®’s personal grooming portfolio, adhering to timelines, stage gate requirements, and launch goals.
• Convert approved product concepts and innovation briefs into actionable development strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the coordination of formula development, claims testing, packaging development, artwork initiation, technical transfer activities, and ensure production readiness.
• Oversee product costing and business case support, including COGS development, gross margin analysis, financial tracking, and recommendations for approved pricing.
• Monitor and communicate project progress to the PD team, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams; identify risks, escalate issues, and coordinate mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with PMO, Design, Marketing, QA, Regulatory, Packaging, Operations, and Channel teams to facilitate timely product launches.
• Maintain project documentation, timelines, action items, and progress reports across various initiatives.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a product development execution and category ownership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing the entire product development lifecycle within the personal grooming sector.
• A process-oriented mindset, complemented by technical skills in formula development.
• Proficient in MS Project, Asana (or similar project management systems), and specification systems.
• Proven track record of contributing to a successful product launch.
• Established ability to develop and implement comprehensive launch calendars that align with the MANSCAPED® roadmap, while effectively identifying opportunities for portfolio enhancement.
• Strong leadership in executing new product development, which includes managing formula development, claims testing, packaging design, artwork initiation, and production, while ensuring accurate cost-of-goods analysis and financial justification.
• Capability to communicate project statuses and risks effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, facilitating the resolution of challenges and the implementation of risk mitigation plans, while staying attuned to industry trends and the competitive landscape to drive category leadership and brand perspective.
