This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take ownership of the product lifecycle for Underwriting Operations projects, spanning from discovery to delivery and measurement.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Oversee Jira management by creating, refining, and validating stories to ensure readiness for release.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to convert technical initiatives into tangible deliverables.
• Work alongside engineering, actuarial, underwriting, finance, and operations stakeholders.
• Establish success metrics and leverage data to monitor outcomes, enhance processes, and inform investment decisions.
• Coordinate quality assurance, documentation, and stakeholder communication for product releases.
• Lead roadmap planning that aligns with quarterly and annual objectives, company OKRs, and business requirements.
• Advocate for the adoption of new internal tools.
• Propel continuous improvement in team velocity, delivery predictability, and agile maturity.
• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably supporting application teams.
• Demonstrated success in leading agile software development teams and managing workflows, including epics, sprints, and story validation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of synthesizing competing priorities into a coherent plan.
• Comfortable with technical subjects such as APIs, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and system reliability.
• An analytical and metrics-driven mindset for prioritization and measuring success.
• Experience in managing complex cross-functional projects from ideation to delivery.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide clarity for both engineering and business partners.
• Familiarity with the insurance sector and its processes (Underwriting, Claims, etc.).
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, Terraform, ECS, IAM, networking).
• Experience in Insurtech or another regulated, data-intensive industry.
• Hands-on experience in defining application design using tools like Figma, Sketch, XD, etc.
• Proven track record of driving the adoption of internal tooling or developer productivity platforms.
• Background in agile coaching, process design, or operational excellence.
• Coordination of large-scale software rollouts across multiple teams.
• Applicants from Poland must be authorized to work in Poland without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
