This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development of product strategy and execution of the roadmap for the Terminology Platform, which encompasses the Knowledge Graph, content expansion, Reference Data Sets, and related foundational terminology features.
• Collaborate with Product leadership to define the overall vision for the terminology platform and guide the transition towards a scalable, graph-based knowledge management system.
• Take ownership of and prioritize content expansion roadmaps, including lab strategies, continuous delivery, and commercialization readiness for significant clinical areas.
• Convert customer, market, and internal stakeholder requirements into business cases, product specifications, and user stories.
• Enhance the speed of content creation, quality assessment, human-in-the-loop review processes, and AI-supported terminology workflows.
• Manage external content and vendor strategies, including source prioritization, licensing preparedness, vendor relationship oversight, ingestion planning, and alignment with market demands.
• Work alongside Legal, Clinical Informatics, Mapping, Engineering, Architecture, Growth, Support, and Customer teams to address dependencies and manage trade-offs.
• Leverage data, customer insights, and quality indicators to pinpoint terminology deficiencies, prioritize resource allocations, and showcase business and customer value.
• Assist in commercialization and market readiness by clearly communicating product positioning, customer benefits, release implications, and sales enablement requirements.
• Steer cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle amid uncertainty, shifting priorities, regulatory/licensing limitations, and competing business objectives.
• Over 5 years of experience in clinical terminology, healthcare data, product development, product management, or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of experience in Clinical Informatics.
• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare domain, particularly in clinical terminology, coding systems, interoperability standards, or structured healthcare data.
• Familiarity with key clinical code systems and vocabularies such as CPT, LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-10, RxNorm, HCPCS, CDT, DSM, or similar content sources.
• Capability to translate intricate customer, clinical, technical, or business requirements into product strategy, roadmaps, specifications, and measurable results.
• Experience collaborating across various functions including Product, Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Mapping, Data Science, Legal, Sales, Growth, Support, or Customer Success teams.
• Strong analytical abilities and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex clinical, technical, and product concepts clearly to executive, technical, clinical, and commercial audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person team collaboration.
• Understanding of knowledge graphs, ontology models, graph-based data structures, AI-assisted workflows, APIs, or terminology platform architecture.
• Experience with third-party content, licensing, vendor management, reference data sets, crosswalks, or content ingestion workflows.
