Product Manager, Tax Prep Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Lead the product discovery, strategy, and execution for experiences throughout the tax preparation journey.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, and business partners to address customer challenges.

• Prioritize opportunities based on customer insights, data, and organizational goals.

• Specify requirements and oversee products from conception to launch.

• Assess outcomes and consistently enhance the client experience.

• Analyze and implement cutting-edge AI tax preparation features across H&R Block’s complete client journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through a combination of education and relevant work history.

• Proven decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Demonstrated capability in presenting complex information to various organizational levels.

• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with formal product management methodologies.

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software and product planning tools.

• Preferred: Familiarity with structured technology delivery/software development lifecycles.

• Preferred: PMP certification, equivalent certification, or progress toward PMP certification or equivalent.

• Preferred: Experience in individual income tax consultation or return preparation.

• Preferred: Knowledge of experimentation rigor, including observation, hypothesis formulation, experiment design and instrumentation, measurement, and unbiased result analysis.
