This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the Student Acquisition value stream.
• Take ownership of the complete prospect-to-enrolled-student journey.
• Leverage research, journey mapping, funnel analytics, and stakeholder insights to pinpoint friction points and areas for improvement.
• Establish and track product goals and KPIs, including speed-to-lead, stage conversion, application completion, yield, cycle time, adoption, data quality, and operational efficiency.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, student impact, risk, cost, effort, dependencies, and strategic alignment.
• Convert business challenges and desired outcomes into product requirements, acceptance criteria, and decision context.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and technology teams to sequence deliveries, manage dependencies, validate releases, and confirm results.
• Lead product discovery, experimentation, usability testing, and ongoing optimization.
• Ensure uniform funnel definitions, lead qualification rules, attribution, consent, and data flow across various channels and platforms.
• Manage the integrated roadmap across CRM, marketing automation, digital experiences, inquiries and applications, communications, workflows, integrations, analytics, and reporting.
• Assess platforms, vendors, and investment opportunities; create business cases and recommendations.
• Align Marketing, Enrollment, Admissions, Student Services, IT, and executive stakeholders.
• Partner with operational leaders on process design, service levels, adoption, training, change management, and preparation for peak enrollment periods.
• Ensure adherence to FERPA, privacy, consent, accessibility, security, data governance, responsible AI, and other pertinent regulations.
• Report on roadmap progress, product performance, financial implications, risks, dependencies, and decisions to executive and operational stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, marketing, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years of experience in product management, digital product strategy, business technology, CRM, enrollment technology, or a related area.
• Proven experience in owning product strategies and roadmaps across various platforms, business functions, and stakeholder groups.
• Familiarity with product discovery, customer research, journey mapping, experimentation, and data analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of CRM and lead management, marketing automation, digital experiences, workflows, integrations, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to define product metrics, analyze funnel and operational data, construct business cases, and assess value, cost, risk, and trade-offs.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners and Agile delivery teams.
• Exceptional executive-level communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with vendor assessment, service performance, implementation partners, and dependencies on third-party platforms.
• Knowledge of privacy, accessibility, security, data governance, and responsible AI considerations.
• Product management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in higher education, student recruitment, enrollment, admissions, or regulated consumer journeys is strongly preferred.
