📋 Description

• Oversee the creation, design, and upkeep of proprietary Management Liability coverage forms along with related rules for both admitted and non-admitted use.

• Create new forms and update existing ones to cater to specific underwriting requirements and adapt to a changing legal landscape.

• Keep track of and evaluate regulatory and judicial developments to ensure compliance in the states where writing occurs.

• Execute, oversee, and analyze market research and competitive assessments for the designated product line.

• Collaborate effectively with Specialty Underwriting to define and bolster strategies and objectives for professional and executive lines.

• Formulate filing strategies while managing and responding to inquiries and objections from State Departments of Insurance.

• Provide mentorship and work closely with Product Analysts.

• Assist in strategic product development, market research and analysis, product upkeep, regulatory compliance, profitability, growth, and retention.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Specialty insurance with practical knowledge and expertise in product; or a combination of education and experience that would provide a similar background.

• Comprehensive understanding of specialty insurance products, policy wording, form drafting, coverages, and the regulatory landscape.

• Exceptional leadership, innovation, initiative, organizational, and time management capabilities.

• Strong oral and technical writing communication skills with an acute attention to detail.

• Proficient in understanding and conveying the intent of product and underwriting strategies and their inter-relationships with coverage.

• Significant ability to influence strategic decisions that align with corporate objectives.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills that reflect Hanover's CARE values.
