📋 Description

• Oversee the development, design, and upkeep of proprietary Management Liability coverage forms and their related rules for both admitted and non-admitted applications.

• Create new forms and modify existing ones to cater to specific underwriting requirements and changing legal standards.

• Track and assess regulatory and judicial landscapes to ensure compliance in writing states.

• Execute, oversee, and analyze market research and competitive assessments for the designated product and line of business.

• Work in partnership with Specialty Underwriting to formulate and support strategies and objectives for Professional and Executive Lines.

• Formulate filing strategies and manage responses to inquiries and objections from the State Department of Insurance.

• Provide mentoring and work closely with Product Analysts.

• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Claims, Legal, Compliance, Actuarial, and Technology teams to promote profitable growth and enhance customer outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Specialty insurance, with practical knowledge in product management, or a combination of education and experience that offers an equivalent background.

• In-depth understanding of specialty insurance products, policy language, forms drafting, coverage options, and the regulatory landscape.

• Strong leadership, innovation, initiation, organization, and time management capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and technical writing communication skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.

• High-level ability to understand and articulate product strategies, underwriting approaches, and the interconnections of coverage.

• Robust capacity to influence strategic decisions that align with corporate objectives.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that align with Hanover's CARE values.
