Product Manager – Single Use Assemblies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee the single-use portfolio for biopharma production applications, which includes managing the portfolio, developing strategies, setting pricing, overseeing life cycle management, and driving both top and bottom-line growth.

• Establish external partnerships for bag and single-use assemblies.

• Take ownership of the business and manage the single-use bag assembly product portfolio with P&L accountability.

• Achieve or surpass revenue and gross margin objectives, leading all business facets.

• Supply data on competitors, market trends, product positioning, revenue, and unit/capacity forecasts.

• Determine key business priorities along with pricing strategies.

• Formulate long-term product strategies and oversee fiscal planning.

• Initiate and lead strategic collaborations with clients, suppliers, and industry influencers.

• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams on go-to-market and commercial initiatives.

• Enhance market share and customer satisfaction for single-use products.

• Propel demand through targeted sales and marketing campaigns.

• Engage in senior leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions.

• Establish objectives and strategies while ensuring accountability for their execution and outcomes.

• Lead cross-business-unit and divisional initiatives within a matrixed organization.

• Act as the subject matter expert on single-use products for sales and marketing teams.

• Represent Avantor at industry conferences and trade shows.

• Articulate product strategy and tactics to the market.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, sales, and/or marketing within the life sciences sector.

• Willingness to travel domestically and globally up to 25% of the time.

• Preference for candidates with experience in single-use technologies for bioprocessing applications.

• Technical or commercial familiarity with single-use products and applications is preferred.

• P&L financial experience is preferred.

• Experience in developing and articulating business cases is preferred.

• Proven capability to guide objective decision-making processes is preferred.

• Analytical skills are preferred.

• Technical proficiency in bioproduction is preferred.

• Project management and planning abilities are preferred.

• Experience in decision-making and adaptability to change is preferred.

• Strong business-level written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

• Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure is preferred.
