Product Manager – Resource Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Establish the product vision and develop the roadmap.

• Perform internal and external research to uncover client needs, market possibilities, and business priorities.

• Factor in technical limitations, platform standards, and architectural considerations when shaping product direction.

• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Product leadership to ensure strategic alignment and secure approvals on crucial business decisions.

• Modify scope, sequencing, and roadmap strategies in conjunction with the Product Director.

• Define product outcomes while representing the client’s perspective.

• Communicate updates on roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

• Estimate effort and manage capacity allocation.

• Outline business and functional requirements alongside Product Management and stakeholders.

• Create user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing the backlog accordingly.

• Convey product strategy, requirements, and priorities to development teams.

• Coordinate both intra-team and external dependencies.

• Collect, monitor, and present KPI data.

• Act as the development team representative for core delivery, non-functional requirements, maintenance, support, and technical initiatives.

• Engage in sprint ceremonies, planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, and evaluation meetings.

• Draft IT and product documentation.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of business processes and internal system configurations.

• Evaluate changes in business processes and their impacts on systems.

• Serve as the main contact for stakeholders.

• Provide product expertise and support for release readiness, lifecycle management, and ongoing improvements.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in product strategy, product management, or a requirements intake role.

• Strong preference for experience in agile development.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.

• Proven experience in writing and managing user stories.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong business and technology acumen, including understanding customer needs, technical concepts, and business strategy.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective organizational and time management skills.

• Leadership and influencing capabilities, including people management and negotiation skills.

• Professional execution and accountability.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Necessary licenses as required.
