This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +3 more countries.
β’ Drive the expansion, competitiveness, and profitability of the chemical process pump portfolio.
β’ Acquire knowledge of the global market for chemical process pumps, encompassing applications, customers, competitors, and industry trends.
β’ Identify customer requirements, unmet needs, purchasing criteria, and factors influencing equipment selection.
β’ Develop and maintain competitive intelligence regarding product performance, pricing, lead times, manufacturing capabilities, and commercial strategies.
β’ Recognize high-growth market segments, new applications, competitive risks, and opportunities for market share expansion.
β’ Collect market insights from customers, EPCs, distributors, regional sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Convert market and business insights into actionable strategies that foster profitable growth and enhance competitive positioning.
β’ Formulate and implement market-driven product and portfolio strategies that align with growth, profitability, and lifecycle-value objectives.
β’ Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to enhance product competitiveness, cost efficiency, availability, delivery performance, and technology roadmaps.
β’ Oversee global product launches, value propositions, commercial enablement, portfolio optimization, and initiatives aimed at installed-base/aftermarket growth.
β’ Foster cross-functional alignment and communicate strategic recommendations, business cases, training, and presentations to technical, commercial, and leadership audiences.
β’ Establish yourself as an organizational expert on markets, customers, competitors, and applications related to the product portfolio.
β’ Drive measurable enhancements in market penetration, competitive positioning, portfolio performance, customer value, and profitable growth.
β’ Mobilize the organization to implement necessary business changes.
β’ A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related engineering field, or a recognized European equivalent.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in product management, technical sales, business development, or strategic marketing within the industrial pump sector.
β’ Proven experience in leading complex initiatives that involve multiple functions or stakeholders.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships effectively.
β’ Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
β’ Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly gain expertise in new markets, technologies, and applications.
β’ Ability to navigate a global, matrixed organization with diverse functional and cultural stakeholders.
β’ Professional fluency in English.
β’ Willingness and capability to travel approximately 30% of the time, including international travel.
β’ Familiarity with chemical process pumps, specifically ISO 2858 designs.
β’ Understanding of chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or other industrial process markets.
β’ Experience with mechanically sealed and sealless pumping technologies.
β’ Proven track record in developing product strategies, competitive intelligence programs, market segmentation, or go-to-market initiatives.
β’ Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, including internationally.
