This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the product strategy and advancement for the DocDefender AI-driven automated document redaction platform.
• Report directly to the Head of Product Management within the NEC Evidence and Insights product division.
• Define, develop, and deliver software products that fulfill customer needs and enhance business value.
• Take ownership of and communicate the product roadmap and materials aimed at customers.
• Align customer requirements, market trends, and technical capabilities effectively.
• Convert strategy into commercially viable product backlogs and specifications.
• Maximize revenue potential through modularity, pricing strategies, and upselling opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Public Safety marketing team to devise marketing strategies.
• Work in partnership with engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Prioritize features based on their value, risk, and potential opportunities.
• Monitor and track delivery, milestones, launches, and product releases.
• Manage the product lifecycle and share updates with the company and customers.
• Lead all pre-sales efforts and support new sales initiatives.
• Engage with customers, gather feedback, and analyze usage data and market trends.
• Support user groups, customer workshops, masterclasses, and early sales engagements.
• Research competitors and emerging technologies, including AI innovations.
• Develop product enhancements, business cases, and proposals for governance discussions.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and contribute to monthly reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date product documentation and related materials.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a business or technical field.
• Demonstrable experience in Product Management within technology sectors.
• Preferred: Background in the Public Safety sector with a proven capacity to deliver technical solutions.
• Ability to engage an audience including customers, technical personnel, partners, and colleagues while fostering excitement in advancing the product strategy and execution.
• Exceptional product insight.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to perform accurate return on investment assessments.
• Strong research skills encompassing competitors, markets, customers, and requirements.
• Capable of making difficult decisions that serve the best interests of the product, market, customer, and company.
• Applicants must have resided in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years.
• Must have the right to work and travel within the UK.
• Satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks are required.
• A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be necessary depending on the role.
• Must currently possess SC-level national security vetting or higher, NPPV Level 3, or be eligible to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance.
• Compliance with Baseline Personnel Security Standard requirements.
