Product Manager On-Ramp, Swap

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Establish and manage the strategy and roadmap for purchasing and exchanging USDT and XAUT within the Tether Wallet.

• Analyze payment ecosystems in targeted markets, encompassing payment methods, card networks, banking infrastructures, mobile money options, regulations, and active service providers.

• Assess and choose on-ramp or swap partners based on coverage, fees, foreign exchange spreads, approval rates, KYC processes, settlement speed, reliability, and compliance standards.

• Oversee the selected partners from assessment to launch, coordinating due diligence, commercial agreements, and contracts with Legal, Compliance, and Business Development teams.

• Convert partner capabilities and APIs into product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to create an in-app buying and swapping experience.

• Develop routing logic based on factors such as country, currency, amount, pricing, and availability.

• Set and monitor buy and swap funnel KPIs, including conversion rates, payment approvals, KYC drop-offs, total user costs, and transaction volumes.

• Enhance user experience, oversee partner performance and incidents, and evaluate partner suitability by market.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience within the financial sector (banking, payment service providers, FinTech).

• At least 3 years of experience in product management within the DeFi or cryptocurrency sectors.

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency wallets and DeFi functionalities, including token swaps, DEX aggregators, and on-chain transaction processes.

• Familiarity with global payment systems and credit card networks, such as Visa, Mastercard, authorization procedures, 3-D Secure, and chargeback processes.

• Knowledge of local payment methods, including bank transfers, instant payment systems, and mobile money solutions.

• Practical experience with fiat on-ramp, off-ramp or swap providers, or integrating third-party payment processors and gateways into consumer products.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, select, and onboard external partners, along with managing their performance post-launch.

• Working knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and their impact on user onboarding and conversion rates.

• Capability to interpret partner API documentation, evaluate integration alternatives, and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

• Experience in defining funnel KPIs and utilizing data to enhance conversion rates and inform partner decisions.

• Exceptional English communication skills.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with partners, expansion teams, and engineers across different time zones in a remote setting.
