This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Spearhead customer discovery initiatives through interviews, site visits, usage analysis, and win/loss evaluations.
• Generate customer, market, and competitive insights utilizing AI tools for research and synthesis.
• Oversee the product backlog comprehensively, which includes drafting specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog items and ensure the backlog remains up-to-date and clear.
• Establish success metrics, track feature adoption post-launch, and iterate based on data evidence.
• Collaborate daily with engineering and design teams to remove obstacles and make product trade-off decisions.
• Analyze various aspects including physical devices, connectivity, firmware cycles, sensor data quality, and the cloud platform.
• Produce release notes, internal briefings, and customer-facing documents to support go-to-market teams.
• Manage escalated product issues and maintain feedback loops with support and customer success teams.
• Take responsibility for feature adoption, customer value realization, discovery pipeline, delivery quality, squad metrics, and NPS contributions.
• Assist in the roadmap development for a specific segment of the Anova Unify platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in mobile platform development, device connectivity, and software deployment.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, with direct responsibility for product area strategy and adoption outcomes.
• At least 6 years of overall professional experience in product management, software engineering, or related technical roles.
• Proven experience in taking a product, feature, or initiative from inception to a tangible, utilized outcome.
• A successful record of delivering SaaS or enterprise software in close collaboration with engineering teams from specification to production using Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in conducting customer discovery interviews and converting qualitative and quantitative insights into prioritized, well-defined backlog items.
• Proven utilization of AI and LLM tools in a Product Management context.
• Proficiency in writing clear, structured specifications, one-pagers, and narratives for cross-functional audiences.
• Comfort in reasoning about APIs, data models, and integration patterns in discussions with engineers.
• Data fluency, including the ability to define metrics, extract and analyze data using BI tools, and make evidence-based decisions for the roadmap.
• Prior experience in IIoT, connected hardware, SaaS, or industrial technology environments is preferred.
• Experience in shipping ML- or AI-assisted SaaS features is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial or field-operations workflows is preferred.
