Product Manager – Migrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead AWS migration initiatives encompassing discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Engineers on migration strategies, dependency mapping, and rollback plans.

• Engage in backlog refinement, estimation, and workstream sequencing activities.

• Act as the main delivery point of contact for migration clients.

• Manage client expectations, project scope, risks, and escalations effectively.

• Conduct internal and external status meetings, ensuring alignment of timelines and success criteria with client goals.

• Organize and lead Quarterly Business Reviews, identifying subsequent modernization and expansion opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Solutions Architecture.

• Supervise project assignments and team allocations across ongoing engagements.

• Track pending sales forecasts to keep recruitment informed.

• Direct cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product.

• Maintain clear delivery milestones and transition phases throughout projects.

• Implement quality gates, migration playbooks, and delivery standards utilizing Jira and Azure DevOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in technical delivery leadership, engineering leadership, or consulting within cloud or modernization domains.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, compute, storage, and IAM.

• Practical experience managing large-scale cloud migrations.

• Full lifecycle Agile/Scrum delivery experience is required.

• Demonstrated ability to provide clarity amid technical ambiguity.

• Active AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) are a plus.

• Familiarity with regulated frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI is a plus.

• Background in professional consulting is a plus.
