Product Manager – M365, Security & Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development and prioritization of the roadmap and backlog for Microsoft 365 management functionalities across Nerdio products, encompassing tenant security posture, policy and configuration governance, identity and access controls, licensing and user lifecycle management, as well as multi-tenant operations.

• Identify essential capabilities for MSPs and enterprise administrators to secure and govern Microsoft 365 tenants, prioritizing them based on business impact and technical feasibility.

• Ensure that functionalities operate seamlessly across products while addressing the requirements for single-tenant enterprises and multi-tenant MSP use cases.

• Define the assigned functionalities and generate user stories and specifications for the engineering team.

• Collaborate with engineering and QA to develop, test, and launch functionalities.

• Partner with technical writers to create documentation for new features and functionalities.

• Work alongside support and escalation teams to triage customer-reported issues and prioritize resolutions.

• Determine the prioritization of builds, including what should be developed now, next, or later, and in which products.

• Implement new capabilities internally to support teams in sales, customer success, and technical account management.

• Collaborate with marketing on promotional activities for new capabilities.

• Conduct discovery calls with customers.

• Monitor evolving compliance frameworks, including CIS, NIST, Cyber Essentials, Essential 8, HIPAA, PCI, and CMMC.

• Cultivate deep expertise in Microsoft 365 management within Nerdio and provide guidance on features to internal teams, partners, and customers.

• Track roadmaps for Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, Defender, Purview, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Copilot, identifying product opportunities and risks.

• Collaborate with various product teams, partners, and customers to foster rapid innovation and iteration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software development for MSPs, with a solid understanding of how MSPs operate in multi-tenant environments, standardize configurations across clients, and manage access securely.

• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Copilot, Secure Score, conditional access, as well as tenant-level security and compliance settings.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft's delegated administration models is preferable.

• Strong grasp of the Microsoft 365 management market and its key players, including native Microsoft tools and third-party MSP platforms.

• A bachelor's degree or higher is mandatory.

• A minimum of five years of experience in the Microsoft 365, MSP software sector or as an M365 administrator at an MSP is required.

• At least three years of software and/or SaaS product management experience is essential.

• Exceptional presentation abilities along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
