πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee Events & Commerce within the larger In-Person Giving product portfolio.

β€’ Transform customer insights, market data, and business context into a product strategy and organized roadmap.

β€’ Select a specific target audience and event context.

β€’ Determine which functionalities should be integrated into the shared In-Person Giving framework versus an Events-specific model.

β€’ Ascertain what Fundraise Up should develop, integrate, collaborate on, or exclude.

β€’ Drive discovery sessions with nonprofit fundraising teams, event organizers, finance departments, volunteers, attendees, donors, design partners, and internal GTM teams.

β€’ Outline event workflows before, during, and after events, encompassing purchasing, donations, check-in, fulfillment, reconciliation, reporting, and follow-up.

β€’ Validate decisions through interviews, workflow observations, prototypes, and real-time product usage.

β€’ Manage the product from defining problems through to requirements, delivery, launch, and iteration.

β€’ Draft requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, state transitions, and decision documentation.

β€’ Make scope and trade-off decisions collaboratively with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, QA, and GTM partners.

β€’ Design for staff and volunteer operators, self-service processes, mobile devices, optional hardware, unreliable connectivity, high-volume situations, and operational recovery.

β€’ Leverage existing payments, campaigns, donor, reporting, CRM, and identity infrastructure.

β€’ Initiate launches through EAPs with defined entry criteria, target workflows, success metrics, readiness requirements, and out-of-scope considerations.

β€’ Assess event workflow usability, confirmations, receipts, activation, adoption, event completion, GPV, expansion, pipeline, retention, and operational costs.

β€’ Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, Support, Finance, Legal, and Operations on positioning, enablement, commitments, and launch readiness.

β€’ Utilize AI for research synthesis, workflow analysis, prototyping, specification quality, data exploration, and operational automation.

β€’ Develop technology that enables nonprofits to engage more supporters and increase fundraising efforts.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 4–7 years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership within a software product company.

β€’ Complete ownership of a customer-facing product area in collaboration with Engineering and Design.

β€’ Strong capability in narrowing down a broad problem space to a targeted release while clearly articulating trade-offs.

β€’ Proven experience in converting customer insights and product data into informed decisions.

β€’ Excellent written communication skills across requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decision documentation.

β€’ Proficiency in managing transactional, multi-actor workflows that involve permissions, states, monetary transactions, and data relationships.

β€’ Strong sense of ownership and independence.

β€’ Proficient in written and spoken English.

β€’ Fluent in both Russian and English (C1+).

β€’ Experience with ticketing, event technology, commerce, POS, payments, marketplaces, registration, auctions, or other transaction-intensive products is highly advantageous.

β€’ Familiarity with mobile applications, contactless payments, physical devices, or hardware-supported workflows is a significant plus.

β€’ Background in B2B SaaS, fundraising, nonprofits, or complex operational customer environments is a strong plus.

β€’ Experience in launching a new product area through beta or EAP is a valuable asset.

β€’ Knowledge of CRM integrations, financial reconciliation, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL is a helpful advantage.

β€’ Practical application of AI in research, prototyping, analysis, or product operations is a strong plus.
