Product Manager III – LIMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and lab operations to create software solutions.

• Develop strategies and roadmaps for development teams.

• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to collect backlog inputs and secure support for prioritized deliverables.

• Convert business, market, and clinical requirements into actionable product specifications.

• Manage and prioritize the feature backlog in alignment with the strategic roadmap.

• Create flow diagrams, data models, pros/cons analyses, prototypes, AI-assisted sandbox prototypes, and other visual representations.

• Define and measure success criteria for the product area.

• Integrate quality into product design and work with development and software quality assurance teams on product and process enhancements.

• Advocate for product initiatives across the organization, promote integration, and ensure a positive impact.

• Oversee the product roadmap and backlog along with all technical requirements.

• Translate and document detailed use cases and software product requirements to guide prioritization and solution decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software product management, preferably in the healthcare IT or biotech sector; experience in genetic testing is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Agile software development, working directly with engineering development and QA teams.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship-building, and analytical abilities.

• Experience in developing scalable enterprise software or critical business systems.

• Willingness and confidence to experiment hands-on with AI tools to create rapid proof-of-concept prototypes.

• BA/BS degree in a relevant technical, scientific, or quantitative field or equivalent experience.

• Capability to comprehend and articulate technical complexities in a simplified manner for various audiences.

• Ability to decompose large projects into manageable milestones and monitor progress.

• AI fluency and discernment regarding when to take a builder's approach.

• Skill in collaborating, interacting effectively, and influencing across functional areas and team settings.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Skills in customer research and survey methodologies.

• Proven knowledge of products and markets, or a strong capacity for rapid learning.
