Product Manager II, Growth – Notifications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product roadmap for Coinbase's notifications platform, encompassing push, in-app, and email channels.

• Enhance user engagement, activation, and retention through tailored, machine learning-driven notification strategies that yield measurable outcomes.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing teams to develop relevance models aimed at improving targeting accuracy and minimizing notification fatigue.

• Oversee A/B and multivariate testing initiatives to assess notification timing, content, and channel selection at scale.

• Design the long-term architecture of the platform to accommodate new channels, audience segmentation, and real-time personalization features.

• Formulate the strategy for engaging with millions of Coinbase customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management.

• At least 2 years dedicated to growth, engagement, or lifecycle products at scale (1M+ users).

• Demonstrated success in delivering machine learning-driven personalization or relevance features.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with data science teams on model development and assessment.

• Extensive knowledge of experimentation methodologies, including the design of A/B tests, setting success metrics, and analyzing results.

• Experience managing a multi-channel messaging or notifications platform, focusing on deliverability, opt-in optimization, and frequency management.

• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.

• Ability to independently derive insights to inform product decisions.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI with appropriate human oversight.
