Product Manager, Fund OS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the direction and roadmap for Foundation Source’s FundOS platform.

• Spearhead the design, development, and launch of features aimed at donor-advised fund administration, fund accounting, and enhancing donor/grantee experiences.

• Prioritize the FundOS roadmap while balancing business outcomes, technical feasibility, and client requirements.

• Ensure that features adhere to financial accuracy and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, and internal operational teams to define and prioritize requirements.

• Work alongside engineering, design, delivery, Product Support, and Technical Account Management teams.

• Utilize product metrics and client feedback to foster continuous improvement.

• Present product strategy, roadmap, and performance results to senior management and stakeholders.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of product scope and decision-making processes.

• Develop insights into DAF sponsoring organizations, donors, and operational requirements.

• Investigate trends in DAF administration, competition, and the philanthropic/fintech landscape.

• Advocate for customer interests in product-related decisions.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience (or equivalent) in software development and SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with fintech use cases, such as payment workflows, financial compliance, or similar money movement systems.

• A strong understanding of complex systems and integrations, ideally within the fintech sector.

• Capability to identify core customer needs and design solutions to meet them.

• Proven history of delivering robust, timely product outputs while maintaining team morale and satisfaction.

• Exceptional written communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into impactful product features.

• Experience with donor-advised funds, philanthropic/nonprofit technology, or broader financial services.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

• Experience in a small team or startup environment with diverse responsibilities.

• A dedicated, distraction-free home office or workspace.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (bonus point).
