This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and enhance the product roadmap for the Observability and Compute/Network teams.
• Balance the needs for reliability and security, developer requirements, capacity limitations, and costs in collaboration with Foundation Engineering leads.
• Define and monitor outcomes related to reliability, performance, developer experience, and costs.
• Promote secure, policy-compliant self-service instrumentation, dashboards, and compute/network provisioning.
• Collaborate with Information Security and Risk teams to translate security requirements into roadmap priorities.
• Collect feedback through incident retrospectives, on-call surveys, and direct interactions.
• Present roadmaps to platform leadership, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze observability and compute/network infrastructure trends to guide build-vs-buy and roadmap decisions.
• Report to product leadership within the Developer Platform and work alongside engineering leadership for Observability and Compute/Network.
• Previous experience in product management, particularly with infrastructure-facing products (observability, SRE tooling, cloud compute, or networking platforms).
• Proven ability to define a product roadmap and implement infrastructure capabilities.
• Working technical knowledge of observability or compute and networking.
• Track record of managing product development for infrastructure or platform capabilities with multiple engineering stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize investments based on reliability, security, and cost considerations.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Sumo Logic, Wavefront, Sentry, or similar.
• Familiarity with compute/network tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-provider networking or cost-management tools.
• Understanding of SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and the design of on-call processes.
• Familiarity with financial services or other regulated industry engineering environments.
• Experience in promoting infrastructure adoption and self-service models across a large, distributed engineering organization.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams across various time zones.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship.
