This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the strategic direction and results for a worldwide portfolio of SaaS and LIMS products.
• Establish market segments, buyer personas, and relevant use cases.
• Perform market and competitive analysis and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Assess and enhance Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM).
• Discover growth opportunities through innovation, expansion, and partnerships.
• Manage the product roadmap and convert strategy into epics and features.
• Collaborate with engineering on planning, trade-offs, and product releases.
• Develop clear requirements for the development team.
• Ensure high-quality SaaS delivery and approve product releases.
• Create business cases, value propositions, pricing strategies, and packaging options.
• Align efforts with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Assist with positioning, messaging, demonstrations, and proposals.
• Engage with customers to validate concepts and gather feedback.
• Utilize AI/GenAI tools to enhance product development.
• Assess customer AI requests for feasibility and value.
• Work with engineering on responsible AI delivery.
• Ensure that AI features yield measurable results.
• Act as the accountable owner for product outcomes.
• Independently lead discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and communicate product, market, or delivery risks.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in software product management or product ownership.
• At least 3 years of experience in food and beverage safety.
• Direct experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is mandatory.
• Proven experience in delivering SaaS products in complex or regulated environments.
• Experience in supporting go-to-market strategies and collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Prior involvement in or leadership of AI or Generative AI product feature releases.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial insight.
• Exceptional communication and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Technical knowledge of SaaS and software development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with laboratory operations and regulated settings.
• Comfort in making decisions with incomplete information.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25–30% may be necessary.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment and remain seated at a desk and computer for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds with assistance as part of routine office tasks.
• Ability to perform moderate lifting/carrying of 15–44 lbs., use fingers, and walk/stand for 2–6 hours.
