This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Define and lead the product strategy.
• Develop and prioritize initiatives and epics for new IB&CS features.
• Establish and monitor KPIs that evaluate adoption, performance, and market expansion.
• Collect and convert direct customer feedback into actionable user stories.
• Provide regular consolidated updates to the leadership team.
• Design, configure, and customize APIs, including DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE, XDS, ECC, and eMPI.
• Integrate best practices and workflows with PACS, RIS, EMRs, public health agencies, devices, and patient portals.
• Conduct comprehensive IB&CS workflow and data flow workshops with clients, vendors, and subject matter experts.
• Act as Product Owner in SCRUM/SAFe, facilitating PI planning, sprint reviews, and feature demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, UX, and DevOps to guarantee timely and high-quality releases.
• Continuously incorporate feedback from stakeholders and customers.
• Represent AGFA at industry working groups, conferences, and Connectathons.
• Create responses to RFPs, white papers, and thought-leadership materials.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, health informatics, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Healthcare IT product management, R&D, or interoperability engineering.
• In-depth understanding of DICOM, IHE, HL7, XDS, FHIR, eMPI, and relevant terminology.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, public cloud platforms, microservices architectures, and machine learning applications.
• Proven experience integrating PACS, RIS, EMR, and other clinical systems.
• Demonstrated capability in managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Comfortable serving as Product Owner in a scaled Agile environment.
• Track record of overseeing all facets of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
