
Product Manager – ELD & Fleet Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct the complete feature and product lifecycle, encompassing planning, development, and launch phases.
• Manage the iterative lifecycle of the product from conception to production, covering aspects such as scope, specifications, prioritization, design, implementation, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Take ownership of the product roadmap pertaining to ELD and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance features.
• Ensure the platform adheres to FMCSA ELD mandate requirements along with relevant federal and state regulations.
• Develop product specifications, which include wireframes, process workflows, state transition diagrams, copy decks, acceptance test plans, user stories, acceptance criteria, and personas.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, translating high-level requirements into actionable user stories.
• Conduct acceptance testing during each product iteration.
• Collaborate with Engineering and hardware/telematics teams on ELD device connectivity, data accuracy, and compliance workflows.
• Advocate for the product both internally and externally to foster rapid adoption.
• Establish goals and KPIs focused on customer value and devise strategies to meet them.
• Perform end-user research and relay insights to internal stakeholders, including drivers, fleet safety managers, and compliance officers.
• Analyze quantitative data to uncover successful strategies and new product opportunities.
• Suggest enhancements in process automation and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Design and Development teams to establish Product Vision, Roadmap, and Release Plans.
• Ensure end-user adoption and assess user utility.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and other internal stakeholders on go-to-market initiatives.
• Keep track of FMCSA and other regulatory updates, translating these changes into product requirements before compliance deadlines.
• Over 7 years of experience in an analytical, product-focused role.
• More than 5 years of experience delivering products in a Product Manager capacity.
• At least 2 years of experience in writing user stories and defining epics.
• Previous experience in writing or understanding code is highly preferred.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience managing ELD (Electronic Logging Device) products or features is strongly preferred, with knowledge of the FMCSA ELD mandate, Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, and related compliance workflows (DVIR, IFTA).
• Background in the construction technology, fleet management, or IoT industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in launching technology products in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, influence product enhancements, and interpret business/technical requirements.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Information Technology, Economics, or a related STEM field is required, or equivalent experience.
• Capability to create clear and focused documentation, including process flows and standard operating procedures.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals, including regulatory and compliance stakeholders.
