This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of the entire documentation landscape: in-product Help, implementation guides, support runbooks, and release notes.
• Determine what should be documented, revised, or phased out.
• Create a customer-centric information architecture.
• Establish and manage documentation metrics such as release coverage, page freshness, no-result Help searches, and associated support volume.
• Design and implement an AI-assisted documentation pipeline utilizing tickets, pull requests, release artifacts, and recorded demonstrations.
• Develop evaluation methods to identify convincing yet incorrect generated content.
• Automate processes for change detection, terminology and style adherence, screenshot capture, and publishing.
• Oversee and enhance the MadCap Flare and repository-based documentation toolchain.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to outline documentation requirements as part of the definition of done.
• Establish terminology and style standards across four ERP platforms.
• Design processes for documentation change detection and revalidation, and take ownership of the SLA.
• Gain product knowledge through hands-on experience.
• Create migration guides, error taxonomies, and documentation on integration behaviors.
• Over 5 years of experience managing outcomes rather than simply processing tasks: product management, implementation or solutions consulting, technical program management, support engineering, developer experience, or technical enablement.
• Proficient in Git, comfortable working in a command line environment, and familiar with codebases you have not authored.
• Proven track record of automating your own tasks.
• Hands-on experience delivering actual products using an LLM, including assessing its output and catching inaccuracies.
• Direct interaction with customers facing challenges through implementation, support escalation, solution consulting, professional services, or training.
• Ability to comprehend a complex product without a specification and retain awareness of any points of confusion encountered during the learning process.
• Established capability to influence product managers and engineers who are not under your direct supervision.
• Comfortable with prioritization and the ability to decline requests when necessary.
• Familiarity with MadCap Flare, complex enterprise systems, docs-as-code or CI-driven publishing, exposure to B2B fintech/payments/accounts receivable, and experience with internal tool development are advantageous but not mandatory.
