Product Manager, Developer Experience – SDK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product strategy and roadmap for Ping’s Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and Hybrid frameworks.

• Collaborate with technical documentation and developer relations teams to produce documentation, quick-start guides, and sample applications.

• Coordinate with Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure alignment of SDK capabilities with platform releases.

• Engage with customers, partner engineers, and the open-source community to collect requirements and feedback.

• Author technical blog posts, participate in developer forums, and create content for the SDK.

• Oversee the product lifecycle from initial concept to final release.

• Maintain a prioritized product backlog and establish success metrics, such as SDK adoption and integration time.

• Track app development trends, cross-platform frameworks, identity standards, and AI-related development trends.

• Enhance Ping’s developer experience across products and advocate for innovative ideas.

• Optimize SDKs, APIs, and tools for human developers as well as autonomous AI agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Practical experience in software development.

• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and FIDO/WebAuthn.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar.

• Awareness of how AI coding agents interact with SDKs, APIs, documentation, and developer tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven experience in defining and executing product roadmaps informed by market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.

• Experience managing a product backlog in an agile setting.

• Capability to balance developer friction points with long-term platform scalability.

• Experience with client-side SDKs and REST APIs is a plus.

• Familiarity or strong interest in agentic infrastructure tools, AI software development loops, and MCP is advantageous.
