This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Create the product vision and roadmap for checkout, payment, and order processing.
β’ Identify friction points in the checkout process and formulate measurable hypotheses and optimization initiatives.
β’ Continuously enhance checkout and payment processes, including the integration of new payment providers and methods.
β’ Optimize payment success rates, order completion, and cancellation processes while maintaining a balance between conversion and customer experience.
β’ Collaborate with relevant departments to implement fraud prevention strategies without adding unnecessary friction to the checkout experience.
β’ Further develop cross-channel and omnichannel processes, such as Click & Collect.
β’ Prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business impact, and data insights.
β’ Manage pertinent checkout, payment, and order KPIs by leveraging A/B testing, analytics, and user feedback for ongoing optimization.
β’ Work closely with Engineering, UX, Data, and related product teams.
β’ Take ownership of the process from defining problems to delivering a production-ready solution.
β’ Develop a Unified Commerce Platform that integrates online and offline channels.
β’ Several years of experience in digital product management, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace, or platform environments.
β’ Experience in checkout, payment, or order processes along with their continuous optimization.
β’ Strong understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and data-driven product development.
β’ Excellent grasp of product and business KPIs, with experience utilizing analytics or experimentation tools.
β’ Proven experience in prioritization, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement.
β’ Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams that include Engineering, UX, and Data.
β’ Strong analytical abilities, a high sense of ownership, and a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset.
β’ Proficient in both German and English.
β’ Nice to have: Experience with payment integrations, payment methods, or fraud prevention strategies.
β’ Nice to have: Knowledge of omnichannel or cross-channel ordering, such as Click & Collect.
β’ Nice to have: Understanding of inventory and availability logic in the checkout process.
