Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Advocate for the needs of customers, business teams, and stakeholders throughout the product development process.

• Address significant customer and Vituity challenges by implementing effective technology-driven product solutions.

• Identify innovative approaches and make product decisions that prioritize customer and business needs.

• Create and document detailed business requirements for engineering teams.

• Oversee CR inquiries and issues for designated platforms, ensuring prompt resolution.

• Facilitate knowledge transfers and coordinate activities with development teams.

• Lead all stages of product development and manage documentation and communication between business and engineering.

• Collect product data, user behavior insights, and track behavioral changes over time.

• Evaluate platform markets and capabilities and design or refine workflows.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with business stakeholders and IT teams.

• Persuade stakeholders and obtain approval from senior management.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to improve product functionality and user experience.

• Create and refine rapid proof-of-concepts using AI coding assistants and agentic frameworks.

• Establish requirements for agentic-system applications and convert prototypes into enterprise-standard specifications.

• Employ AI tools for interface prototyping, synthesizing research, and conducting analysis.

• Maintain platform roadmaps for future enhancements and integrations.

• Produce Business Solution Documents and Software Development Lifecycle documentation.

• Collect and document requirements for platform enhancements and integrations.

• Develop and update Jira cards.

• Coordinate commitments from stakeholders and manage related communications.

• Complete technology and IT methodology training.

• Commit to continuous learning and find a mentor for monthly discussions.

• Finish Scrum.org Scrum Training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a combination of education and work experience demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• 3-4 years of experience in Product Management is essential.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• A strong desire for technology-driven learning and applying industry trends to product development.

• Technology-related certifications are preferred.

• Certification as a Scrum Product Owner is preferred.

• A background in Hospital, Medical, or Pharmaceuticals is favored.

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is preferred.

• Practical experience in building proof-of-concepts using AI coding assistants or agentic frameworks is preferred.

• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Office 365, Azure, and/or in DevOps/engineering environments is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.

• Solid understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology.

• Basic knowledge of AI tools for creating product requirements documents and low-fidelity prototyping.

• Comprehension of product development processes, technologies, and their limitations.

• Ability to understand and document intricate business requirements.

• Competence in interpreting data, recognizing trends, and making data-driven decisions.

• Capability to articulate and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks and features based on product objectives.

• Proficiency in managing product development projects, timelines, and resources.

• Understanding of markets, user requirements, and competitive landscapes.

• Basic knowledge of user experience principles.

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, market conditions, and user feedback.

• Skill in identifying and mitigating risks throughout the product lifecycle.

• Strong curiosity about technology and a commitment to ongoing learning.
