This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Take responsibility for the product strategy, roadmap, and continuous development of Sandboxx Letters.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customers, their behaviors, needs, pain points, and motivations.
• Leverage product data, customer insights, research, and business performance to identify opportunities and prioritize tasks.
• Establish product requirements, success criteria, and KPIs for features, enhancements, and experiments.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design throughout the phases of discovery, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Drive coordination among Engineering, Marketing, Customer Happiness, Finance, Operations, and Fulfillment teams.
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, business value, technical complexity, and operational constraints.
• Enhance acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and repeat usage.
• Examine market trends, customer behavior, competitive products, and potential partnerships.
• Develop business cases and make recommendations on whether to build, buy, or partner.
• Maintain product timelines, priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategies for product launches and improvements.
• Track post-launch performance and determine subsequent actions.
• Streamline the Letters experience and eliminate customer friction.
• Communicate product decisions, priorities, trade-offs, and results throughout the organization.
• Establish product understanding, ownership, prioritization, execution, growth, and long-term strategy during the first 30 days through to 12 months.
• A minimum of 3 years of product management experience, preferably in a high-growth startup, technology company, or consumer product setting.
• Demonstrated experience managing products through the entire product development lifecycle.
• Experience in close collaboration with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and operational teams.
• Strong analytical capabilities and comfort in utilizing data to identify issues, assess opportunities, and make informed decisions.
• Proven experience in defining product OKRs and measuring product performance.
• Solid understanding of customer discovery, product requirements, prioritization, experimentation, and iteration processes.
• Ability to translate customer and business challenges into precise product requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to influence and foster alignment among teams without relying on formal authority.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies.
• Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies.
• High level of ownership and accountability for results.
• An inquisitive nature about customer behavior and a willingness to challenge existing assumptions.
• Preference for in-person work from the Middleburg, Virginia headquarters; remote candidates may be considered.
