Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Recognize product opportunities and improvements based on client requirements as a Screening specialist.

• Connect technical teams with business objectives for complex products from inception to final launch.

• Define end-user needs as product specifications linked to APIs and integrations with other RealPage solutions.

• Liaise with architecture, engineering, development, infrastructure, and networking teams to outline release requirements and testing scenarios.

• Ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and fulfill user requirements.

• Promote innovation by comprehending technical limitations and opportunities.

• Develop and sustain the Product Roadmap at N+3 backlog status with prioritized technical product requirements and user stories.

• Engage directly with end-user clients to grasp and convert their business needs.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for RealPage, focusing on competitive analysis and technical challenges in Background Screening.

• Evaluate technical risks and scrutinize data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems to enhance capabilities.

• Utilize database queries to assess performance indicators, analyze data trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Investigate enhancements to existing services and products to boost profitability.

• Offer product training, research documentation, and training materials to sales and support teams.

• Coordinate product launches with marketing, sales, development, support, and customer success teams.

• Represent RealPage both internally and externally in a professional and positive manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a software technology or SaaS company, ideally with a technical background.

• Proficient in product management tools such as Azure TFS and Jira.

• Familiarity with infrastructure and integrations.

• Experience in full stack software development.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Knowledge of CoPilot.

• Understanding of Claude.

• Comprehension of engineering processes and technologies.

• Familiar with agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.

• Relevant industry knowledge, including Multifamily, Self-storage, Senior Housing, or Real Estate.

• Technical expertise in the Screening domain and insight into technology trends impacting the roadmap.

• Ability to collaborate with developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations teams.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in translating business needs into technical specifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of AI/ML technologies, their limitations, and implementation challenges.

• Preference for CST or EST time zones.

• Additional certifications such as Certified Product Manager (CPM) or Agile Certified Project Manager (ACPM) are advantageous.
