This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Collaborate with field clinicians, office and back-office personnel, and agency leaders across various care settings to gain insights into the complete patient journey.
• Identify potential improvements in EMR workflows and related tools, transforming them into clear problem statements and prioritized opportunities.
• Define and implement solutions that minimize clicks, eliminate duplicate entries, and reduce after-hours charting.
• Contribute to the development of AI-enabled tools that ease routine tasks for clinicians and staff.
• Work alongside intake, scheduling, billing, quality, and operations teams to enhance processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation or simplification within home health, hospice, home care, and senior living sectors.
• Establish outcome-based goals and align them with operational and clinical KPIs.
• Shape and manage the product roadmap, oversee the backlog, and articulate requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver value through incremental product releases.
• Coordinate decisions related to product design and usability.
• Assess post-launch results and iterate based on analytics and field feedback.
• Partner with engineering for testing and user acceptance evaluations.
• Keep track of the post-acute technology landscape, competitors, and emerging tools.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, EMR integrations, APIs, data flows, and constraints.
• Assist in vendor discovery, assessment, and selection processes.
• Provide recommendations on whether to build, buy, or partner for solutions.
• Clearly communicate product plans and justifications to leadership, operations, and field teams.
• Aid in training, release communications, and change management initiatives.
• Develop guides, walkthroughs, and release notes tailored for clinicians and office staff.
• Translate field requirements into business priorities and convert business goals into functional tools.
• Over 5 years of experience related to product management, particularly in healthcare or workflow-intensive SaaS products, or equivalent experience in healthcare technology, EMR implementation, or clinical operations.
• Required hands-on experience with a home health or hospice EMR as a user, administrator, implementer, or product partner.
• Proven track record of end-to-end product ownership, encompassing discovery, prioritization, requirements gathering, delivery, launch, and outcome measurement for frontline users.
• Comfort in evaluating technical feasibility, including APIs, integrations, and data considerations.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are clear and concise.
• Ability to lead through influence and foster alignment across clinical, operational, and technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and contemporary product discovery practices.
• Background in healthcare or workflow-heavy SaaS products.
• Experience with back-office workflows such as intake, scheduling, billing, revenue cycle, or quality assurance.
• Experience in evaluating or collaborating with software vendors or technology partners.
• Exposure to multiple care settings: home health, hospice, home care, or senior living.
• Clinical or field operations experience (e.g., RN, therapist, clinical manager, agency operations).
• Knowledge of post-acute regulatory and compliance standards, such as CMS Conditions of Participation, HIPAA, OASIS, PDGM, and hospice CAHPS.
• Experience in creating mobile or clinician-facing products.
• Proficiency with AI tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, healthcare, or business discipline, or equivalent experience (preferred).
