• Develop products that influence the educational experiences of learners, families, and educators.
• Tackle significant challenges within Outschool’s consumer marketplace and ESA business.
• Recognize both immediate and long-term product opportunities, converting them into actionable strategies, roadmaps, and priorities.
• Manage products comprehensively from discovery and strategy to execution, launch, experimentation, and iteration.
• Enhance customer and marketplace insights through research, data, and direct feedback from customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, marketing, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Transform vague problems into clear, scalable solutions.
• Establish success metrics, design experiments, evaluate outcomes, and utilize both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform decisions.
• Create consensus around product vision and make informed trade-offs.
• Grasp Outschool’s strategic and competitive landscape to build unique products.
• Cultivate a product culture rooted in customer empathy, experimentation, learning, and measurable impact.
• Proven experience in product management; the level will be assessed based on experience and scope.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering, design, data, and various cross-functional partners.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, navigate uncertainty, and achieve meaningful results.
• Experience overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and formulating strategy to launch and iteration.
• Strong product intuition and the capability to pinpoint critical issues.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Robust quantitative abilities, including designing experiments and analyzing data.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• For more experienced candidates: expertise in establishing product strategy, influencing across the organization, mentoring other PMs, and addressing complex, ambiguous challenges.
• Full-time employees must be U.S. or Canada citizens or legal residents and reside within the U.S. or Canada.
