Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Serve as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and the larger community.

• Collaborate with clients to identify their requirements and synchronize them with the Engineering, Solution Consulting, and Marketing teams.

• Work closely with the Customer Success team.

• Investigate and refine product concepts through discussions with clients and partners, market analysis, and exploration of open-source technologies.

• Design, manage, and distribute training materials across marketing channels, community content, and social media platforms.

• Gain a practical understanding of products and services, including their advantages and limitations.

• Comprehend the overall market landscape, key competitors, and open-source technologies.

• Transform market demands and stakeholder input into actionable product requirements.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Solution Consulting teams to prioritize feature initiatives and implement solutions.

• Foster business development alongside the Customer Success and Sales teams.

• Act as the company’s product ambassador and external spokesperson through videos, podcasts, webinars, and written communications.

• Share responsibility for product specifications, requirements, and release schedules.

• Aggregate insights from Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and market trends to steer business and product strategy.

• Partner across functions to guarantee product quality, timely delivery, and market relevance.

• Lead internal project management and pre-sales discussions.

• Cultivate the developer and partner community, including Neptune Heroes, as well as enhance social media engagement.

• Develop technical training materials and resources for pre-sales, Academy, e-learning, and classroom instruction.

• Produce internal competitive analysis documents.

• Maintain a repository of Marketplace items, ranging from modular application components to supplementary solutions.

• Contribute to the implementation of the AI Assistant integration.

• Support internal project initiatives aimed at enhancing workflow and customer service quality.

• Aid in the management and enhancement of the public-facing demo environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or software product management.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in software product management or a related field.

• Strong technical understanding, comfortable with software architecture principles, and hands-on experience with AI tools.

• Formal coding experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Excellent strategic communication skills.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture.

• Ability to offer accurate insights into market dynamics and client needs.

• Customer-focused and service-oriented attitude.

• Capability to establish effective working relationships with global go-to-market teams, local sales teams, clients, and partners.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Entrepreneurial spirit and practical approach in a rapidly growing environment.

• Strategic mindset, with an emphasis on long-term planning, detail orientation, and excellence.

• Exceptional written English proficiency.

• Comfortable navigating Confluence and GitHub, including documenting specifications and decisions, as well as managing repositories, issues, and pull requests.

• Experience with low-code/no-code application platforms is a plus, but not a requirement.

• Knowledge of SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, or ABAP/SAP development) is a plus, but not a requirement.

• Familiarity with Microsoft or cloud platform technologies is welcomed.
