This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Perform market analysis on legislative, regulatory, competitive, and economic trends as well as emerging market drivers.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the product area, providing guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Engage with customers through collaborative design workshops, user groups, and meetings.
• Gather insights and develop product requirements.
• Identify customer business needs and objectives.
• Create requirements, user stories, and wireframes for new developments.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to implement customer-centric solutions.
• Work alongside Technical Authors to produce and review product documentation.
• Develop business cases, including market uptake, pricing, and margin analysis.
• Identify and manage third-party requirements with suppliers and integrators.
• Establish and maintain the product roadmap.
• Assist Pre-Sales and Sales teams with bid responses, proposals, and quotations.
• Present to both internal and external audiences.
• Participate in product launch activities.
• Influence NEC Housing products and direct customers towards best practices.
• Experience in UK Social Housing, whether as a customer or a software solution provider.
• In-depth understanding of project life cycles, methodologies, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Experience in defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.
• Familiarity with housing management systems or similar software.
• Experience working with Document Management, Case Management, and/or Customer Engagement solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• A full, valid UK/EC driving licence for travel purposes.
• Proven track record in building relationships and comprehending client perspectives.
• Effective time management and resource allocation skills.
• Strong decision-making capabilities.
• Experience managing the end-to-end product life cycle.
• Expertise in designing digital solutions for the social housing sector, including mobile applications and web platforms.
• Proficient in tools such as Figma and JIRA.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Documentary proof of the right to work may be necessary.
• Successful vetting and reference checks required.
• A DBS check may be needed based on the role's nature.
