Director of Product, Product Led Growth

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the vision for Temporal's self-service experience.

• Develop the strategy for user sign-up, onboarding, and value realization within Temporal Cloud.

• Lead and expand product-led growth initiatives that enhance activation, adoption, and expansion.

• Build, mentor, and cultivate a team of product managers.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Growth Engineering, Design, and GTM leadership.

• Establish and manage key metrics such as activation, retention, conversion, and expansion.

• Advocate for developer experience through effective onboarding, thorough documentation, and thoughtful product design.

• Convert data, behavioral analytics, and user research into a prioritized roadmap.

• Convey strategy and roadmap to executives and cross-functional partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in product management.

• Significant background in senior or leadership roles managing self-service, product-led growth, or growth strategy in SaaS or developer-focused products.

• Proven experience in building and leading product management teams.

• A successful history of nurturing strong product talent.

• In-depth knowledge of product funnels, activation metrics, experimentation frameworks, and lifecycle optimization at scale.

• Strong executive presence coupled with excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, SQL, or BigQuery.

• Ability to foster a data-informed culture.

• Familiarity with open-source or developer ecosystem products is a significant advantage.

• A builder's mindset that combines strategic vision with operational discipline.
