Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and priorities in alignment with strategic goals.

• Collect stakeholder requirements and convert them into user stories complete with acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Act as the representative of the customer.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

• Perform usability testing and enhance workflows within Encompass and standalone tools.

• Participate in technical design discussions for Encompass integrations and plugins.

• Review API specifications, write or interpret basic queries, and assess technical feasibility and trade-offs.

• Track product performance and user feedback to implement iterative enhancements.

• Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

• Update stakeholders on product developments and milestones.

• Identify opportunities for AI and automation, establishing success metrics and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with Security and Compliance to address lender compliance, data privacy, and ISO/IEC 42001 AI governance requirements.

• Maintain documentation, backlogs, and work items in Azure DevOps.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Over 5 years of product experience in the mortgage software sector, technology industry, or a related field.

• Ability to analyze issues at their root and identify preventative measures.

• Proven experience in launching and managing software products from conception to market adoption.

• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and trends into actionable product strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools; experience with Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Ability to recognize and respond to shifting priorities.

• Commitment to continuous learning and a willingness to utilize AI resources.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with the ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass platform/mortgage industry.

• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage industry processes, compliance requirements, software solutions, and production workflows.

• Experience in defining requirements for AI or automation features is a plus.

• Hands-on experience in developing AI tools is a plus.
