This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +8 more locations.
• Take ownership of the product roadmap for merchants on unmanaged plans, overseeing the journey from signup and onboarding to activation, retention, and expansion.
• Establish and monitor key metrics such as activation rate, time to first live campaign, list growth, retention, and upgrade conversion rates.
• Identify friction points in the self-service journey by analyzing product analytics, support ticket trends, session data, and engaging in direct conversations with merchants.
• Convert Customer Success Management (CSM) insights into in-app guidance, templates, recommendations, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with Support and Onboarding teams to minimize ticket volumes through thoughtful product design, in-app education, and optimized defaults.
• Conduct experiments on onboarding processes, in-app messaging, and feature discovery, making informed decisions based on the outcomes.
• Draft product requirements and collaborate with Engineering and Design teams from the discovery phase through to launch.
• Work in tandem with Marketing and Revenue teams on upgrade pathways, pricing strategies, and lifecycle communication efforts.
• Assist in establishing product management processes, including planning, prioritization, and requirement gathering.
• Over 4 years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS with a focus on self-service or product-led growth strategies.
• Proven history of enhancing activation, retention, or conversion metrics through delivered product initiatives.
• Strong analytical abilities; proficient in extracting your own data, defining metrics, and constructing a compelling case with numerical evidence.
• Experience in designing onboarding flows, in-app guidance, or lifecycle experiences for users who do not engage with human representatives.
• Capable of working cross-functionally and establishing trust with Engineering, Design, and customer-facing teams.
• Comfortable operating in an unstructured environment, with the discretion to create only the necessary processes the team requires.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in e-commerce, Shopify applications, email and SMS marketing, or conversion rate optimization.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with experimentation platforms and product analytics tools.
• Nice to have: Experience as an early Product Manager at a startup.
